Ricardo Allen
E-RYT 500 | Tofino Yoga Teacher Training Faculty Member
Ricardo is a dedicated yoga practitioner forever inspired by the eight limbs of yoga. After experiencing multiple fractures to his limbs along with a collapsed lung, the eventual chosen treatment of rehabilitation was the power of yoga. Ricardo’s music degree and natural musical talents have been the greatest gift to his yoga students, as his classes are infused with the chanting of sacred mantras (yogic chants). Ricardo’s passion for yoga history, philosophy and stories of the ancient texts inspires him. Ricardo lives in a beautiful lakeside off-grid home, that he built himself and shares with his two dogs and incredible life partner Jane.

Jane Good

Jane is on a lifelong yoga journey. This journey began 20 years ago when a yoga teacher made her laugh outloud at herself. Since then, Jane’s yoga path has included Iyengar, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Kripalu yoga. Fine coffee, vegan food and organic everything, especially flax bedsheets, are a few of her favourite things. Jane lives in a lakeside hand built house, in the forest with two curly brown dogs and her beloved partner in life, Ricardo. After an extensive career in education, teaching from Kindergarten to University Level. Rev. Jane now takes great delight and honour in officiating wedding ceremonies.
